This time, my mind will not deceive me if I continue to ponder over a story told me by my co-worker. It is as though I am at a vicious cycle of thinking and analyzing what happened the past few months when such co-worker was not around and seemed to be busy on something which meant a lot for him and his family’s future. It created in me a sense of mystery so that one day I asked him what he did for the past eight months when he took a leave from work. After having heard my question, I received but a smile so good as though dollar bills appeared in his mind as a sudden flash of inspiration. Surely, Aged Corporations would also think the same thing as I did. At long last, I was able to make him tell the entire story over a cup of coffee one snowy morning in the office. I listened intently and was amazed to learn of the events.
Nation remembers Ninoy’s heroism

The 26th death anniversary of former Sen. Benigno “Ninoy†S. Aquino Jr. was observed Friday with masses, wreath-laying, and prayer rallies.
In a mass at the St. John Bosco Parish in Makati City, the life and times of his wife, former President Corazon “Cory†C. Aquino were likewise remembered for her considerable contributions to the restoration of democracy in the country.
